Credit Risk Analytics Specialist

Our Assurance practice brings together regulatory, financial, and data capabilities to help clients meet growing transparency demands. Now, we’re looking for a Credit Risk Analytics Specialist to help us deliver robust credit measurement and modelling solutions to the entities we support.
Position Summary
As part of our Credit Risk Analytics team, you’ll work directly with audit clients and internal stakeholders to:

Develop, validate, or enhance credit risk models (IFRS 9, IRB, stress testing).

Help clients strengthen governance around credit measurement, including data controls and reporting.

Support external audits by challenging model assumptions, methodologies, and implementations.

Participate in credit risk due diligence, stress testing, and asset quality reviews.

Provide insights on the evolving credit landscape and contribute to thought leadership.

Build trust-based relationships with audit clients, helping them make better-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities
We’re looking for someone who’s technically strong and thrives in a collaborative environment. You’ll likely bring:

Proven experience in credit modelling (IFRS 9, IRB, stress testing).

Strong understanding of financial services and credit asset classes.

Technical skills in Python (required), plus familiarity with SAS, SQL, R, Excel/VBA.

Clear communication skills; you know how to make complex ideas simple.

Experience leading projects and managing client relationships.

Commercial awareness of risk management and its regulatory impact.

Experience with internal audit, model risk governance, or regulator expectations.

Data visualisation expertise.

Knowledge of the broader credit lifecycle, from origination to impairment.
